Melting pot

Sharing a short in-class activity from my Multimedia Journalism Workshop.

"The metro is a melting pot of people, it's a gathering of people from all walks of life all over Singapore as we make our way across this tiny nation. Even though we do not greet one another as we get on or say good bye as we get off, we recogonize these people as Singaporeans. However, recently a new mix of culture has been brought onto the metro system. It infused deeply into the culture; the seats running the length of the train are occupied by them, noise in the air is filled with their loud chatter over their mobile phones. These are the culture of the people that Singaporeans coined as foreign talents."
