Opening of a new chapter!

A new semester has arrived..! yeepy! Year 2 in Ngee Ann Poly already!

after a long yet fruitful holiday the new semester has started with a huge satisfaction. Weeks of planning for today's orientation for the new year 1s has finally paid off. Seeing those freshies enjoying themselves while playing the games organised.

Looking forward to be with my classmates again, doing all those stuffs that we usually do. Didn't get to hang around much with them, only during lunch break. But its back to normal routine tommorrow onwards.

Band Camp & Fever

4 Days of band Camp and i was gone on the first day.

Day 1: Arrived at band room almost an hour late, feeling a little unwell, in fact started to cough the night before when i went to see harry potter. Picked up the horn and started playing. My condition got worse when during lunch, the sight of the packed lunch made me wanting to puke, but still i try my best to eat, but haiz.. just can't eat! by the advice of my section member, Amanda, i stop and had gone on an empty stomach throughout the afternoon. Tried to play after lunch, but just couldn't, no strength at all.. so i decided to stop for the day, meanwhile my condition just get worse. till helped the librarians with packing scores, i start to feel horrible. I then decided to go home, hoping to return back the next day. Took a cabby home.

At home, lay down and start to feel feverish, took my temp and indeed i was offically down with fever. Send an SOS msg to my mom. Before going to see a doctor, i took my temp again and this time round i was burning! my eyes were all red and i looked horrible. Geez!

Day 2: Morning and i am still burning going even higher, 40 deg! Could hardly have the strength to move. Took a quick cold shower, trying my best to bring it down. But the fever just burn and burn. Sleep most of the day. At night again i took another shower, but this time, i nearly passed out in the bathroom. Before i totally passed out, i dash out and lay down on the bed. Phew! never faint before and this is a close call.

Day 3 & 4: Basically this 2 days, fever still there n fluctuating but just spend the time bring it down.

Well! That's how i spend my very first band camp in NP away from NP! ahahaha.... Recovering now! Thanks for concern guys!

Respect is Earn not Gain

After so many years, have my parents understand what i have grown to become? Speaking about respect, it finally comes to light that my idiotic father has no idea what is respect. To him, respect is something that everyone has to give him without any particular reasons. But after being a student leader and have experience in teaching students, I was taught that respect is something that you have to earn!

Yes, i have to admit that i give lots of respect to my elders, especially my parents. But have they ever give any respect to me as their son? As i am sitting infront of the computer posting up this blog, I am very heart broken. As I think about this family, it makes me more determine to leave this house or country when i am ready to. I feel that i could no longer take this kind of rubbish from this family any longer. It just emotionally and physically draining for me.

Living in this house its like standing in the middle of a mine field, any single wrong move, the mines will just explode. Guess, by not causing any bomb to blow, its just pure luck. Engage in a conversation, its just like defusing the mine. This is how i live day by day.
