so delighted..! received SMS from Angie, my family ex-maid, tonight. Updated her about stuffs over here and find out how she is doing over there. Well.. she is doing fine over there. Now a mother of a baby girl, Crissa Ann. Such a unique name.
Think about it, it was just a few weeks into first year poly that she left and now a mother of one. Gosh.. gotta fly there to visit her some day. Guess everyone from my grandmother to me miss her alot, especially her cooking.
That's all for now... Catch up with her sometime soon...

But i still must thank her for straightening my teeth. but still...

camp n bowling
Okay, i have stayed awake for more than 36 hours. Shuqun Band camp was so-so, except for the part that me and a few alumni's took all the slippers from the bunk and aglin it along the corridor and staircase. It was fun seeing all panicking when they wake up realising that their slippers was missing.
Manage to return home to freshen up and off back to shuqun again. Listen to Riverside, ZhengHua and Shuqun playing their SYF set and choice piece. Was impress with Riverside performance today but the other two school.. guess it wasn't your day.
Sent riverside back to their school when it was time for RS to leave. And returned back to Jurong east soon after.
Went for a bowling session, 111 pin falls.. pretty nice record for me today. Not a pro anyway. all thanks to Miss tan for making this happen.
Am now thinking of something...
Urgh! i need some... No! lots of sleep!

oh whatever 2
i like to dedicate this blog to my father.
to my father, thanks for spoiling my day today, thanks for all your blabbering all sorts of rubbish at me. I have no idea what you were talking about. are you speaking human language or bird language? Geez... i can onli understand English, Chinese or German. Anyway i do suggest you go for a brain check up. I think your brain neurones are not in proper working order.
The family communicates on the bandwidth of IEEE 802.11b but hmm... what frequency are you on? are you having some interference with the wireless router that was recently installed at home? Never mind, go get your brain neurones check.

skipping a beat
i don't know what wrong with me recently. my chest feels awfully painful at times and it seems like my heart has time to time skipped a beat. Oh no... sorry people if i have MIA, health seems to be the problem.
alumni band is improving, in size and in music. attendence today was so much much much better than the other 2 practices. hopefully this will stay on till concert and thai trip? Pesky as he can be, weida, my good pal from secondary days, asking ridiculous questions and irritates my ass off. haha... fun.
seen someone today, how i feel? hmm... don't know, don't care, don't bother.
losing my sense of humor, hmm... weida was kinda right. i think poly has made me a much more boring person because of work? or is it i am just running away from something?
FYP, to do the project terrence choo propose to me or develop my eTicketing system? both seem interesting enough, but which one should i do?
Imagine Cup? Hmm... let's imagine!
i think i am lost, walking around with no sense of direction. God, can guide me?

joy & disappointment
FYP - Got to know who is my supervisor, Mr Terrence Choo. Kinda guess what my project will be, but yet to find out the details of it. A bit of contridiction here, Mr Choo's email mention that he will provide more details in subsequent email and ask me to concentrate on my exams first, but on the other hand, Mr Dimuthu (the guy in charge of FYP) ask us to prepare project outline and TOR by March 15. Now... getting blur here... hahaha...
Another result was release, shall not mention it, it doesn't make any difference taking it twice or thirce.. there is consistency but no improvement.
UD assignment - Satisfied and happy.
PM assignment - Not satisfied but can live with it.
SA assignment - well.. i think i am satisfied with the grade dispite all that shit that has happen just to complete this assignment. From this assignment, i have learn, friends are divided into three catergories - autocratic friends, democratic friends and hypocrite beast. Sad to say some beast are turning their back against me, for what reason i don't know. Calling me a hypocrite? what about yourself? Creep?

jus another update
hmm.. where should i start?
okies, chinese new year was just like the past few years, basically boring, actually spend my time doing my assignments. Have datelines to meet so i have no choice.
valentines' day was a success! went to collect the flowers the day before and have all my planning comm member to come over my place and wrap the flowers. De-thorning was tough, but it was the mother of one of my planning comm who do it. Really appreciate her help! Thanks! The hardest part was to wrap 99 roses! hahaha... our initial order of 200 roses is not enough to meet the orders. so got to get extra roses. anyway, after wrapping the 99 roses, it naturally form into a heart shap. Aww.. so nice. haha.. the colors of the roses look so refreshing, and my house smell of roses.
On the actual day, the flowers are sold out within 3 hours? yeeps! totally overjoyed, at least i don't need to worry about having extra roses. Thanks to all people who have contributed to this event and make it a success!
suffering from occassional chest pain recently, i don't what happen, but it just slows me down. Ouch! taking rest these few days...
alumni prac, starting tml, it will take place every sunday until SYF is over. In the midst of preparing for our thailand trip this november. looking forward to the trip.
also looking at the possiblity of taking part in Imagine Cup a competition by Microsoft. Details are yet to be finalised.
Lots of events happening for ICT, especially the first few weeks of the new semester. All events are for the incoming cohort of year 1s.
okay i think that's what basically happened from the begining of the month till now.
Auf Wiedersehen!

mundane crap
so what going on recently?
firstly, OH has just finished, and i would say that its was a successful and fun event to work in. iTechOne 2005 was a great success, despite the many last minute details that we worked on. Spend the whole day packing, distributing n ransacking the extra goodie bags for hello panda biscuits. Haha.. feel so kiddie. I feel so guilty of making this old man pushing a trolley load of goodie bags from convention centre to LT 26, geez.. could'nt the lecturer in-charge find another young guy? well... at least i help him a little on the way. iPods were given away as first prize for the robocode competition, argh! it really hurts to see iPods given to students of competition not to the organisers. ouch! haha.. jus kidding, they deserve it. Jus give the organisers iBooks! Lolz!
secondly, 2 assignments were completed, so there is 1 assignment on going now and i have yet to reach the 25% mark of completion. oPpps! 3 more assignment on waiting list, but they are coming real fast...! anyway, i have strong feeling that someone is calling me names regards to my attitude la! anyway, i just wish that he/she will stop calling me names and move on. if you read this and felt offensive, approach me and we will trash things out AGAIN!
I don't know if its me or everyone else, people are acting strangely towards me, as though i am a pain in the neck or something like that. or perhaps i am just being sensitive. people from band(s) to classmates and friend(s).. that's weird.
And recently i have learnt another painful lesson, after teaching for a few years, i think i have done a fair job in that. But i have heard from vivien that one of our junior have just stab me in the back making awful remarks about me. Thanks for telling me and letting me know that there is such an idiot on earth! Very sad and disappointed, if i knew it earlier, i shall not put in much effort on her, but again its the duty of a teacher/senior to bring the best out of everyone.
Moving on, my website is in desiging phase and so.. it should be online soon. That's all for now, Tata! and good nites!

New Year Concert
Great! SWO concert is over, comments? hmm.. i think we sounded pretty okay, somehow i felt certain substance of music is missing. other than that i think i enjoyed myself through out the concert. Especially the horn trio in found in the 2nd movement of clarinet concerto, the horns did great! thanks alot! i think the effort of spending hours of playing those 30 bars together didn't go to waste, especially when i have to wake up early one sunday morning just to rehearse that 30 over bars with desmond ng. Smiles were on everyone's face the moment we end the passage. all break a cold sweat but well... all i could say is, a thumbs up from desmond. Well done guys!
For the other 2 bands that joined us for the concert. Well done, they sounded pretty good, i think they are going to score in the upcoming SYF again. The shear size of the bands just freak me out! hahaha.. they are so so so big.. the whole stage is filled up especially dunman high! compared to SWO.. geez!
My parents attended the concert, hahaha.. heard from my brother that my mum fell asleep. perhaps they are not used to the repertoire of music we are playing. i think somehow they still prefer shuqun's repertoir. oh well... shall ask them to come for NP's concert next time round. perhaps thats the level of repertoire they are used to. =)
Again, its another fun concert i had!

Christmas, Rondeau & tsunami
Christmas, was pretty boring this year, just the usual Christmas dinner but this time round it at my uncle's house which is just across a big field near my house. Spent the whole afternoon hauling food over and back. And manage to get lots of sleep!!! I am losing sleep now..
NPCB concert finally its over! ah hahaha.... Another load off my shoulders. Pretty enjoyable concert, but my playing standards didn't reach my expectation for the first half, guess I was jus keeping the air inside me. Hey! Air is free! So I give it all during the second half. Second half of the concert was more fun. But I am very disappointed with a certain bunch of people who came and attend the concert and left during interval. I couldn't catch them in time to say Hi. But I would still want to thanks Vivien and Yaying for attending this concert. And some shuqun people whom watch the whole concert. Hope you all had fun listening to it.
Well... Now in preparation for SWO's new year concert. 4 tickets at hand and I have no idea who to sell to. Haiz... Always a problem. People... pls come, 8 Jan at VCH (again!) Hehe...
my condolences to all the victims of the recent tsunami. Learnt about it in geography but have not seen one in such magnitude! This is the most distructive tsunami ever. And I believe it could be an re-enactment of Noah's ark. anyway, if you someone appeal to you for any aid, do help out, small packs of panadol will help in a big way...
God Bless everyone!

Who moved my christmas?
school is coming to an end of its third week. pretty stress out from the modules i am taking, all thanks to the reduction in the number of study week. all thanks to some people. assignments coming in or should i say, assignments come smacking at my face. and with the band concerts and society's stuffs.
anyway, NP band concert is just round the corner, yesterday was its final rehearsal, i should say it sounded pretty good. so i am expecting a good concert this coming monday. will i play well? we shall see... And I think i am pretty much decided on which band to leave.
I don't think i am able to juggle such tremendous amount of stress. and i am on a different level of playing field as compared to some people. People are different and so is the amount of stress they can take. So don't come telling me how much workload you have, how much shit you are in and you still able to take it, there is nothing to wow about!
Christmas anot, i think its pretty much burn. Looking forward to my aunt's nagging over the video editing of korea trip. Hmm.. let me see where the blame should go? perhaps myself.
Guten Nacht! (Good night in German)
Merry Chirstmas guys!

Annyeong Haseyo 2
Took me a long time to update on my trip to korea. Busy with school stuffs during the first week, school was pretty fun but stressful for me now. ICT Christmas bash is just round the corner, so we are in the mist of preparing that event.
Day 3
Everland, korea's largest outdoor theme park is the place we went. All got up early and prep up for a day's of fun. My uncle arranged transport for us, a tour guide and a driver. Reach there early with all my young cousins excited about this trip. All were sing and laughing away. Everland is basically a korean version of disneyland that you will find in USA, so they have all the animals for young kids and rides for the older ones and other stuffs for the even older ones. So at everland, we took a safari ride which is one of the attractions in there, a bus will take you up close with the lions, tiger, liger( cross breed of tiger and lion) and bears. The bears are the cute ones, all sitting around waiting for the bus driver to feed them. They even had a street parade, based on christmas as the theme. Well, its a day more for the kids.
Day 4
Skiing!!!! This is the day i have long waited for. Itching to ski for 4 years and i finally get to do it again. Haha... 2 and a half hour ride to the ski resort, again arranged for the same tour guide and driver. i snooze on the way there, and looking at the video my uncle recorded, he actually took a video of me snoozing away. Lolz! Wee... took my ski equipment and headed for the snow. Lost touch, plus the snow was not in a favourable condition, they were kinda old so basically u were skiing on ice instead of snow. Fun! can't wait to do it again. Perhaps skiing lessons at snow city first... hmmm...
Day 5 - 9
Shopping time, went to 2 famous area for shopping. Namdaemum market and Dongdaemum. Namdaemum market is something like what you will find in chinatown during CNY. Lots of wholesale activities going on, mainly fashion. Dongdaemum is more of a shopping mall, it caters to local and tourist. Clothes at dongdaemum are fashionable and trendy. Basically, if you are looking for clothes for yourself or to set up a business, these two places are the best place to go. Anyway, we shop mostly at night, i mean mid night when the kids are asleep so we sneak out of the house. Hahaha.. its was fun. Dongdaemum actually doesn't sleep! Besides shopping, did a little sight seeing. But one of the days were disrupted by a DEMOSTRATION! so we decided to cut short it. didn't get to see it, but get to hear it, even though we were quite far from it.
During these few days also have to endure my cousins fighting and whinning and crying. Haha.. it will be my last trip with the elder cousin among that bunch.
My flight TG 629 from Seoul to Bangkok was very pleasent. Except for the rude customer service people at hong kong. There were not from Thai, its their airport staff. Surprising is the aircraft used was the same one that i took from SIN - BKK. Registration HS-TJE
TG421, BKK - SIN. Was much less enjoyable, mainly because the flight is filled up with singaporeans. aircraft used was pretty old too... Registration HS-TAF. The flight made me feel like i was flying budget. Hahaha... anyway, that about all i would want to say. It could be longer, but i decided to cut it short.
My reflections, very enjoyable trip, manage to learn some basic korean words good enough to communicate to get my way around. Had lots of fun and made my passion for travelling and flying stronger! Going solo the next time round!
Korea, i will be back soon!
Gamsahamnida! (Thank You)

(Thank You)

Annyeong Haseyo!
So tired after a long flight back home. But its nice to be back, why? school is going to start otherwise i don't mind staying for anther week or 2!
Day 1
Check in at Changi Airport for Flight TG 402 to Bangkok continuing TG628 to Seoul via Hong Kong. Total Flight Time was about 10 hours. There was a long queue at the airport, and we were the last few people to check in for the flight, thanks to my small cousin who is reluctant to get up! haha.. anyway, the seats assigned were spread out. For me, i was flying alone for the SIN-BKK sector, with a japanese guy who sleeps all the way and only wake up for meal and a Indian guy seating on the other side la. both know how to sleep. Amazing!
Flight TG402, aircraft registration HS-TJE
Well, 2 hours later we landed at Bangkok International Airport. Because mine is a window seat, i look out as we touch down, i saw a golf course in the middle of the 2 runways! Argh! haha... I got out of the plane first, waited at the gate for 10 mins before the rest of the gang got out! Bet they were looking for me in the plane! We hurried through the airport, looking which gate the next flight were and go through security screening. When we check out the next flight, it indicated that it will transit in hong kong! Only then we realise it! hahaha.... anyway, we board the plane and head to hong kong then to seoul. Service on this flight was much better than SIN-BKK flight.
Flight TG628, aircraft registration HS-TJB
2 and a half hours later, we found ourself in hong kong. Been there before, but was many years back. Checked out the new airport they have, it was HUGE!!! its the world largest! again, went through screening again and waited at the transit lounge. Airport Customer Service was rather average in hong kong.
Down to the final leg, HK-SEL, same flight, same flight attendent and same plane. 3 and a half hours later, touch down at Incheon International, hop on a taxi, illegal one i think, and zoom of to my uncle's house. Terrible communication breakdown with the driver, but we still manage to find our way there. hahaha! One hour journey from Airport to downtown Seoul. That is one day of travelling. Meals are serve onboard.
Day 2
Got up rather late, my two cousins living in korea were off to school and the rest were just lazing around. Finally we get our ass moving and off to Itewon, a toursit attraction equivalent to Singapore's Orchard Road. Its just walking distance from my uncle's house. Well before we leave the house, my uncle called from work telling us that it snowed at his workplace which is the other side of seoul. anway, light snow started to fall at my uncle's house, my first sighting of snow fall. Light snow fall now and then, off to Itewon for lunch, and then heavy snow fall! Wow!!! Awesome sight indeed! i was coverd in snow. The first snow fall in Seoul! To add on, I heard a brass ensemble playing outside baskin robbins! haha.. some chirstmas music, and i am totally surprise that they are able to play at 0 degC! Didn't hang out much and headed back home, the kids are whining away so the older ones stayed at home. Got a awful pain behind my ears, due to the cold temperature. Dinner was at a local korean restaurant? Looks sort of like our coffeeshops where you just pop in for a quick meal. Tried their Cal Bi (Beef) and my favourite Kimchi!
Temperature is around 0 degC.

doom's day
The past three days was very terrible for me. Something happen unexpectedly and it just took me by surprise. This period of time have been very difficult and depressing for me, hopefully the upcoming trip overseas will somehow cheer me up again. It is sad that i will be able to explain to my friends what happen. And they can never understand the difficulties i gone through. I want to take this time to apologise to people that i have offended. I am also utterly disappointed that my friends can never understand the tough time that is now currently going on, especially someone i hold dear to my heart.
To my section members: I really feel gulity for not attend this camp and also being irresponsible for not informing you guys when u all call and msg me. I just kept mentioning in the phone call and sms that i will come. But I really have personal matters to attend to. I really hope i can let you all know what happened but its to personal to mention it out. I sincerely apologise to you all.
God, please brighten up my day.

Eros and Agape
how long? very long..... yup its been a long time since my last entry. lazy i guess, all that sitting around the house is turning to a replica of GARFIELD!! love that fat cat.. meow!
What's have been going on so far? hmmm... guess this hols have be dedicated to music. Band, French horn and Piano. other than that, just looking forward to my trip. Yippee! well.... at least 2 more weeks to go before i leave.
Recently i found out how cute and loving my grandparents are. hearing my grandmother telling me how they tease each other sometimes when they go out. Lolz.. that's what 50 years of marriage comes down to, love and respect for each other. something which make me sit back and think...
Eros or Agape?

yawns....
wow.. its been a long time since my last entry haha.. slacking all the while except for last tuesday, where i had a very interesting experience in the operating theatre. after some injections and ................
haha.. i just came out with a very interesting music analysis of Movement II of The wind in the Willow title Ratty and the Mole. haha... Ratty should be played in the way that the main melody of the song sounds like the busy rats, i mean country rats not the urban rats. running in and out of the barrow in the search for food and stuffs.. if i would replace the melody with words, it should goes: "Hurry hurry, let's go... we have not much time!" As for Mole, i believe mole have a very close family bond between them if i recall properly from the animal documentary i watch before, so the main melody carried by the horns should present the warm and close family bonding they have. haha.. Overall, this movement should show the contrast of a very busy animal who is always on the hurry and a very slow and ease going animal with warm feeling. Just my 2 cent worth.
well... i am off to combine band prac with SMB and Alumni. They are going to rehearse for the upcoming sentosa performance where i will not be in because i will be going overseas!!! yeah!!! anyway, making lots of sacrifice, giving up sentosa performance, leadership camp and band exchange for this trip. hopefully it worthwhile and i believe it will be otherwise i fly back!!! haha...
